Flying First Class. WOW

Made it in to India late last night. Today is my first day with solid internet connection, so I thought I would go back and recap the last few days.

So I have to talk about first class flying. It was AMAZING! I get on the plane and go up to the top where it's only first class seats. There are about 20 seats, but only about 6 others sat up there. It's almost like a lounge inside the plane. I walk in and there are 3 German business men standing up, talking to each other. The look on their faces was pretty funny when they see me walking in with my hoodie and backpack. They gave me a nod but you could tell they were like.. what is this guy doing up here.

I sit down and the flight attendant asked what I would like to drink. They had Champagne ready to be served. I want to take pictures of it all but I just imagine the jokes that would come from the snobby Germans so I sneak one or two in when no one is looking.

Throughout the flight they bring you this hot washcloth that is damp and smells like perfume. I didn't know what to do with it at first, but I take notice of the Germans wiping their faces with it and do the same. What would you like to drink sir? Wine, liquor, whatever you want. Then they start to bring out the food. Appetizers to include caviar, breads and several different other choices. I had to try caviar because it seemed appropriate and I've never tried it before. They recommend a small glass of vodka to go with it. Yes please.

Once I am completely stuffed with a full course meal, cheeses and chocolates, they ask if I would like my chair set up like a bed. They put down a blanket, recline the chair flat as a bed and give me my complimentary PJs, slippers and toiletries. This is crazy. No wonder these guys are so snobby. It would be hard for this to not go to your head.

So I crash out for about 5 hours and they wake me up about an hour before landing. Give you coffee, some light breakfast and it's over. The trip to Vegas felt like a longer flight than this.
